Indie-authors of our GR Group, please do not heed the lies of these scammers & spammers. Please don't be fooled by them. They are only out for your money & nothing else. There is NO SUCH THING AS A FREE & SAFE BOOK PROMOTIONAL EXPERT OR BOOK MARKETING EXPERT - please!

There is an ecosystem of looters who target indie authors with offer that are so good. My manner is to boot, mark spam, block, etc... every such approach.

I have noticed so many people in Insta and FB who start the contact with "where are you from?" or "is your book available on GR or Amazon?".

Auto-block, auto-spam.

I have also seen the the phrase "I am curious..." often used by spammers. These goons want to start a conversation, then shower you with praise, then move to the ask.

Indie author promotion is hard work. It is the Long Game. The shortcuts offered to 'work around the algorithm' or 'boost discoverability' or 'get listed on the key Listopia lists' are all nonsense. And don't even get me started on 'drift marketing'!

We do the work, step by step. Person-to-person.

That's the point of this group.
