I need some help finding books that will leave me speechless, think American psycho, dark matter, haunting of Hill house. Psychological thrillers etc!!

The Staircase in the Woods by Chuck Wendig was a great psych horror.
Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak made my brain hurt and the book actually has the super disturbing drawings in it (which is awesome).

You’ve got to try Kissed by the Devil (by C H Elton). It’s a dark Faustian thriller with plenty of twists. I think you’ll like it.

I recommend joining the dark romance group!!! Even if you’re not as much into the romance, or maybe you are, lots of good dark recs on there:)

Little stranger is really dark and sick fux is somehow even darker (and I haven’t seen people talking about it) so if you’re looking for a good twisted story, this are my top two

I remembered that “grave matter” is even better. The PLOT is INSANE. I usually know what the plot twist is going to be but this book let me speechless

The story is also so different from other books and really interesting

I still think that there are things the writer could have done better but it’s a good book still

It has suspense, terror and like a dark romance too

Sins of the Sigma- Caged by Summer Robert!! She is currently writing the series and book 2 comes out in 2 months! it is EXACTLY what you are looking for. Think secret societies, female rage, murder mystery, some dark spicy scenes and much more!

Just finished Alchemised by SenLinYu and it's left me broken! Not 100% what you're asking for but most definitely dark and gets under your skin.

Check out Karen Rose or Cynthia Eden books. I loved Die for me by Cynthia Eden.

LaRocca's 'At Dark I Become Loathesome' is really dark.

Hey you should give The Pain in Her Eyes: Dear Younger Me a go though it mighty be that dark but it is a psychological thriller

Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton is good to read. I'm currently reading it, and I'm halfway through the book.

You have to read Brother by Ania Ahlborn - one of the creepiest and original books I have read in ages!
