The hardback and paperback covers of The Glass Field are incorrect, but the Kindle edition is correct. Please can you change the hardback and paperback covers to be the same as the Kindle edition shown here:

It's been a couple of weeks... can anyone help with this please?

Hi folks. I would really like to get this resolved: I'm about to take the book out to early reviewers and readers, and the Goodreads pages are still displaying the wrong cover. It's correct on Amazon – see here:

...but is wrong on the Goodreads pages, which looks sloppy.

I can see a lot of other people have open requests about covers that aren't getting resolved either. Is there any other avenue we should be pursuing or is posting here still the only way to resolve this?

I'm not a librarian, so I can't help you directly, but I can see that the Amazon link you've provided only relates to the Kindle edition of the book.

You've said that the hardback and paperback covers are incorrect, but there's no evidence of this from e.g. Amazon or the publisher's website. Changing the cover of an existing edition that is not a Kindle or Audible Audio edition is a violation of Goodreads policy, so it's unlikely that the librarians will be able to do it for you. You may need to request an "alternate cover version" in the Adding New Books & Editions section of the discussion board.

Thanks for the information, Verity, that's much appreciated. What's happened is that Goodreads seems to have grabbed an early, incorrect, version of the cover from Amazon; that version no longer exists, and the outdated cover will be replaced, when the book is published, with the same cover as the Kindle version is currently (correctly) showing. The image Goodreads currently displays for the pb and hb therefore doesn't exist in the real world anywhere, and never will.

Does requesting an alternative cover version involve creating a new version of the book within Goodreads? If so, that just sounds confusing for everyone 😬 I'm really hoping there's some way to correct this within Goodreads. Perhaps when the correct covers go live on Amazon it'll be easier to link to them and get it resolved?
