What is a Reading Sprint?
š°Reading Sprints are short sessions designed to enhance your reading time. If youāre able to carve out 10 minutes each day, at the end of a sprint youāll have read 30 minutes more than you did the previous weekend, right? Each of us could have varying goals in our daily minutes ⦠the point is all of us read for 2-3 days straight and share our reading.
š° Prior to our Reading Sprint start, weāll post a few easy āagendaā prompts to invite discussion and comments. It might be as simple as āCharacter Perfectionā or āSetting.ā At the end of your session sprint (you might have multiple sessions in a day), if you noticed a ācharacter perfection (or flaw?) thatās notable, do comment/share.
š°Each Reading Sprint will focus on one genre or trope.
š°Of course, some readers need a carrot so to add a bit of podium fun, weāll ātrackā the minutes logged. The reader who logs the most minutes during a sprint will be awarded a badge.
