Reading-Sprints-(1)

What is a Reading Sprint?
šŸ”°Reading Sprints are short sessions designed to enhance your reading time. If you’re able to carve out 10 minutes each day, at the end of a sprint you’ll have read 30 minutes more than you did the previous weekend, right? Each of us could have varying goals in our daily minutes … the point is all of us read for 2-3 days straight and share our reading.

šŸ”° Prior to our Reading Sprint start, we’ll post a few easy ā€˜agenda’ prompts to invite discussion and comments. It might be as simple as ā€œCharacter Perfectionā€ or ā€œSetting.ā€ At the end of your session sprint (you might have multiple sessions in a day), if you noticed a ā€˜character perfection (or flaw?) that’s notable, do comment/share.

šŸ”°Each Reading Sprint will focus on one genre or trope.

šŸ”°Of course, some readers need a carrot so to add a bit of podium fun, we’ll ā€œtrackā€ the minutes logged. The reader who logs the most minutes during a sprint will be awarded a badge.

READING SPRINT: LOGGING YOUR MINUTES

šŸ‘¤šŸ‘¤šŸ‘¤Part of our 1 Million Listening Minutes Challenge?šŸ‘¤šŸ‘¤šŸ‘¤
If you’re a participating member of our 1M Listening Minutes, log your reading as usual daily with only the time read in the ā€œDurationā€ column.
1. For Reading Sprints, do include the GR link to your book; for the books you finish, do include your GR review link.
2. For books unfinished before Sprint’s end, leave ā€œDate Finishedā€ empty (do not fill in).
3. Don’t forget to hop back to the Sprint Event to share your comments/discuss the event’s prompts.

šŸ‘¤Not part of our 1 Million Listening Minutes Challenge?šŸ‘¤
1. Copy the template below and paste it to a new post in THIS thread and update it as you go.
2. Please post a link to the books, authors of each book, the date you finish each book, and your review(s).
3. When the sprint begins, set yourself a goal number of minutes you want to read in the 48-hour sprint and post it on your first day.
4. Add your total number of listened minutes at the end of the sprint.
