Three Points

3.1 (Pat's Task) IT'S FINALLY HERE !
Read 3 Books

I'm talking about SPRING! I hate cold weather, and even though we had a very mild winter this year, I love that the days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and all of nature is waking up to the feel of spring.

Select one of your TBR lists and read 3 books from it.

1. The longest book on your list

2. The book with the warmest colored cover.
Warm colors are defined as red, orange, and yellow shades.

3. A book that has NATURE on its MPG.
If you don't have a nature book on your list, you are welcome to go hunting for one that looks good to you.

3.2 (Pat's Task) DECONSTRUCTING MARCH 2026
Read 3 Books

I'm in the middle of a book where a chef serves a "deconstructed lemon pie" and it got me to thinking about a task that would contain the elements of March 2026 without actually being a March task. I got to playing around with it, and here's what I came up with.

Books published in MARCH of any year are excluded from this task.

1. March 2026 in numbers would be 32026.
Read a book that contains only 3 of these numbers in the page count OR publication year
examples
2022 (no - has only 0 & 2) 2023 (yes - has 0, 2, & 3)
320 pgs (yes - 0, 2 & 3) 226 pgs (no - only 2 & 6)

2. An old saying for March is "In like a lion, out like a lamb."
Read a book that has all the letters of LION or LAMB in the title. (subtitles excluded)

3. A recent remake of Alice in Wonderland premiered on March 5, 2010. I know we've all heard of the March Hare. Richard Adams also created a name for his rabbit language in his book Watership Down, inventing the word from the French word for rabbit, Lapin.

Select one of the following options for your third book.
A ~ a hare or a rabbit on the cover
B ~ the word hare, rabbit, or lapin intact in the title
C ~ the word hare, rabbit, or lapin found in the text (cite the passage)
D ~ an author with the same initials as either Richard Adams or Lewis Carroll
E ~ read either Richard Adam's book Watership Down or Lewis Carroll's book Alice's adventures in wonderland
