I'd like to nominate'Treason' by Meredith Whitford
I've had it on my TBR list for a long time
and if it's chosen I will have to read it!
Must figure out if there's something in the pile that has Plantagenets in it. Treason is good though.
My TBR pile is much smaller than all of yours, I think, at least in terms of anything related to the Plantagenets. :) I'd like to offer up Eleanor the Queen by Norah Lofts to the list.
I would like to nominate The Adventures Of Alianore Audley by Brian Wainwright. Lots of fun discussion.
And the winner is . . .
Brian is a member of the group, so perhaps he'll join us for the discussion in January!
I am honoured beyond words!I just hope no one expects me to explain all the jokes as I've forgotten the basis of half of it.
I think I got it up. Let me know what the actual dates are and I can fix that as well as folder changes if needed.
Just curious, because I'm fine with this book, but when and where was the voting, as I didn't see any of that?
There was a poll (it's still on the page) that was conducted at the end of November. I sent out invitations to group members to vote on it.
This is my first time on this group discussion. Do you read and discuss the entire book or do it in parts? When will the discussion start? Looking forward to this discussion. Happy New Year all!
It's officially set to start on January 1, but there's already a thread where you can ask Brian Wainwright questions. This is our first discussion. It's a short book, and this is a smallish group, so I think it's best to discuss the entire book instead of dividing it into parts. But if anyone else has a preference otherwise, just post.
I just finished this wonderful book and can't wait to discuss! I will be away until Jan. 11th but will jump into the fray when I return. Happy reading everyone!
My copy should be arriving from Amazon tomorrow(ish). I can't wait to start reading, as it sounds like a very fun read.

I'll nominate Jean Plaidy's The Plantagenet Prelude to start us off. It's out of print in the US, but Amazon has multiple copies available for a couple of bucks.
