Hello readers... hopefully spring is in the air soon... (although we had a snowy night last night so that is mainly wishful thinking on my part)!

what are you reading? what is next?

I finished the The Astral Library this morning which was meh... I admit that I am not a fantasy fan so it fell a bit flat for me but I did appreciate the commentary on the importance of libraries and how ridiculous book banning is! I will see Kate Quinn when she visits Hamilton next weekend!

Next, I am on to A Love Affair with the Unknown: Leaning into the Uncertainty of Modern Life who is coming to Kitchener on Tuesday.

I've been working on Ship of Spells by H. Leighton Dickson and hope to finish in March.

Super jealous of the book event, Susan! I've not read the Astral Library yet but Kate Quinn is one of my favourite authors.

I'm currently most of the way through Geek Girl, which is not really my usual fare, but I enjoyed the show and thought I'd give the books a shot. After that, I think I'll be onto The Berry Pickers.

I'm finally reading The Last Chronicle of Barset--I read the fifth one in November of 2023.

@Julia - I have been lucky to see her twice before and she seems to be on a very busy book tour in collaboration with Janie Chang who is promoting her latest book, The Fourth Princess.
