For those who drain pasta water. Do you wait for the water to cool down before draining it?

I haven't cooked pasta in a long time. Last time I cooked was during secondary school. I feel lik Rachel from friends where I'm starting experiences with fresh new perspective.

Drain it when the pasta is done, but save off some of the starchy water if you need to add to your sauce, which needs to be warm so the sauce doesn't cool.
