i would say heat because being burned would last a while and be super painful. At least when your cold it may numb the pain. :)

Hopefully fire would be quicker

cold, it would numb itself and there is the chance you are frozen and not dead, like cryo or something.

I watch too much sci-fi...

COLD.....ur body is preserved beautifully, its like getting stuck in a frezzing time machine...LOL:D
