The edition was shelved more than 10,000 times, so we cannot delete it. You will need to contact support, and good luck with that. I would replace the cover with the real one and let it be.

Let me guess: you asked support to delete the edition and they made it invalid instead. Now I get to say "I told you so".

No, I did not contact support. Perhaps someone else did or they just monitor this thread.

They not act wrongly even without request. Just when you think you hit bottom.

I asked support to restore the Public state. After the usual few roundabouts, where they explain that they cannot Delete and I explain the policy, they restored the Public state. Rejoice.
