Finally, I found a chat for authors!
I once tried to write a book....it didn't work well....but hey, look up Etheria by Elise Vandervalk on goodreads, bc Elise is my best friend and I helped write the book!!!

True!I have three core fantasy ideas, a contemporary romance series, and a few retellings here and there lol.

Yes! I have certainly had those days, and on days like that, I do my best and know that I will fix it later. It does not make the rest of the writing bad, I just know I will have to edit some descriptions. Maybe focus more on dialogue instead, or go read something that has pretty descriptions to help you? Depending on where you are or what time it is, maybe go outside and look around. How would your characters describe that?I dunno if that's helpful or more frustrating, but I get what you're saying!

I think it's available on Amazon but then again, I think she told me that she took it off for a bit. It is also still being edited (I think) but I got a copy!

Hello, i'm new and i try to write novels. they kind of suck but i try. i'm always looking for inspiration so this could be good. i've written whole books based in the PJO universe with different characters. i've written nine books about a high school for rising heroes, it's more on the fantasy side than the action side tho. i'm looking for a series title bc i'm bad at making titles.
also i put them in my notes app so i have no idea how long it would be on paper. it's about 40 chapters per book

the main characters name is Harmony, she has a power that's based on singing and resonance. she's a hero in training at the hero academy to be a pro, but she is kinda introverted and is scared to use her power because it can get dangerous.
