I recommend that everyone that hasn't before read the Davinci code. It may not be YA, but if you like history or the study of religions, you'll love the book and I just read its sequel that came out earlier this year, its even better.
a good book for older boys are some john grisham books. i love his writing. if you like books about the law and criminal minds these are for you
Some good ones are: The Outsiders, The Catcher in the Rye, The Magician's Nephew, Holes, Lord of the Flies, and any book by Steven King.
I'll probably recommend Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus for guys. My guy friends find it helpful, you know. :)
The Knife of Never Letting Go is so awesome. and boys, teenagers, and adults would L-O-V-E- it!!!!!!!
All Guys should read For One More Day by Mitch Albom. It seemed like a girl book when I read it,but guys can read it to.P.S DON'T BE LIKE THE GUY IN THE BOOK!!!
