Debbie (dashforcover) | 1270 comments Well, golly, someone from the library SHOULD have answered by now. But... The library system does several different challenges. The only one I do is the Monthly Challenge. For that one, the moderator posts a topic and we are to read a book that deals with that topic. It can be any book, fiction or non-fiction, adult or juvenile. The moderator kindly lists a few book ideas and many participants post what they plan to read, although you don't have to. When you finish, you post what you read and your name is entered into a drawing. After the end of the month, a name from amontg those who finished is chosen and they can go to their local branch and choose a book prize. Not everyone participates in the drawings but just participate in the challenges for fun.

Summer is a little different, a summer challenge which covers June, July and August. A topic is given and we read 5 books on that topic, reporting the books we've read before the end of August.

Good luck with others answering about other challenges.
