Have any of you guys read Airman? It's a great book I really like the action and adventure I think Conner is so brave!

Andy I recently bought a copy, so I need to put it on my to-read list. Quite a few kids have recommended it to me.

Camille | 2 comments I thought it was a grand, classic adventure story. I was just talking with an 8th grade boy who is sort of all over the place in his reading tastes and he LOVED this book. He is a devoted Lightening Thief and Alex Rider fan, enjoys the fast pace and action of those series so I was pleased and a little surprised that he loved this one so much. He is NOT a fan of Artemis Fowl, Young Bond or Jonathan Stroud's books, interestingly.

I enjoyed the love and affection between Conner and his parents. Loving parents and the sense of missing family is a theme that shows up in Colfer's stories frequently.

Kayla Duff I just bought it from my school book fair. My dad was there with me and we both like the Artemis Fowl series, so we figured we'd give Airman a try. I haven't read it yet, I'm in the middle of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the Clone Codes, but I'll have them finished really soon.

J (siobhanmaire) I read this book next-to-last while working my way through the 2009-2010 Lonestar list because I didn't think it was going to be "my" kind of book. wow, was I wrong! This ended up being my second favorite (after "The Red Necklace"). The story flowed well, was exciting and keep me wanting more. I hope there is a sequel to this!

Camille | 2 comments OK, I need to try The Red Necklace again.
