📚 What is the Emerging Authors Bonus?
For those looking to take this challenge a step further, we are introducing the Emerging Authors Bonus!

Our Emerging Authors List features writers who currently have only one or two published books. These are rising voices in the reading world — and by choosing their books, you can help spotlight new talent while earning exclusive bonus badges.

This is a completely optional add-on challenge that can be completed alongside your regular tasks.

🌱 How to Participate
To qualify:
⭐ Read a book by an author listed on the Emerging Authors List
⭐ Books must meet normal challenge rules (page minimum, completion dates, etc.)
⭐ Each book can only be used once toward Emerging Author badge progress

🏆 Badge Progression System
Participants can earn tiered badges based on how many different emerging authors they read.

🌱 Fresh Ink Finder — Read 1 emerging author
⭐ Rising Star Reader — Read 2 different emerging authors
💎 Hidden Gem Hunter — Read 3 or more different emerging authors



(Reading multiple books by the same emerging author is wonderful — but only counts once toward badge progression.)

🔍 What Counts as an Emerging Author?
An author qualifies if they currently have:
📖 One or two published books (novels, novellas, or major releases)

This list will be maintained by moderators. Members are welcome to suggest additions in the suggestion thread!
