The Trans Rights Readathon is back! This started in 2023 and is a fantastic way to broaden your reading and support books, authors, and readers across our bookish community. Below is an excerpt from the official website, transrightsreadathon.carrd . co (without the spaces) Please check it out for all the information!
“The Trans Rights Readathon is an annual call to action to readers and book lovers in support of Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) on March 31st. We are calling on the reader community to read and uplift books written by and/or featuring trans, nonbinary, 2Spirit, and gender-nonconforming authors and characters.”
There are also social media pages if you’d like suggestions on books/authors and to engage with the community about what you’re reading.
No specific prompts this time, as long as it fits the spirit of the readathon, go wild!
This will run from Thursday, March 19th to Tuesday, March 31st. Start and end times at midnight in your timezone.
What you need to do in order to participate:
