I guess let's do first come first serve towards the letters, because as soon as we have the letters we can start filling the basket

plus with us being able to use any edition it could make things easy

I didn't see that Juie had claimed the letter K before me! Mine might need to be for our second basket, but I'll see if it meets any of the criteria for the eggs too...

I'm almost done with Malice. It can be used for "egg" in text; "hunt" in text; or "april" in text. I'm going to record it for "april" unless someone else wants that one. Just in case I'm recording the data to support the other words in case we need to switch things around (if that's even allowed).

pg 219 "He was just a bad egg."

pg 260 "....going so far as to hunt down the one or two extant photos...."

pg 254 "When April came around and it was time for the new school year to start..."

My next book will be Carl's Doomsday Scenario. It can also be used for "egg" in the text or "hunt" in the text. (It could also be an S for our next basket). I'm going to plan on using it for "egg".

pg 299 "The egg-shaped ball of fire leaped out of my hand...."

pg 35 "....insane tourists can go to hunt crawlers."

Also, I think we need to have the BASKET complete before we start filling it with eggs, so my suggestion Lisa is to use Malice for the A letter if you want

The book Malice doesn't work for the letter A, I don't think. If it can't be used for an egg, then we'd have to start a second basket where it would work for the letter K. I can change my post in the thread where we report finishes if necessary.

Where do we post when we finish a book?

Welcome to the team Dede. Here's the rules:

1. Spell out BASKET to make a basket.
2. Find eggs after creating the basket with the following categories/tasks.

Color covers: Blue, Green, Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple or Pink.

Patterns on covers: Flowers, Stripes, Swirls, Polka Dots, Waves, Circles or Stars.

Words: Egg, April or Hunt in text (pg/% & quote), Letters EGG in title (in any order), Letters APRIL in series title (in any order), Title ends with a letter in HUNT or Author initials in EASTER.

If anyone has another book for S, feel free do use it. I'm slowly working on The Shining, but it's been a busy week, and I might not have it finished for a few more days. We can always use it for another Basket or I can see if it works for an egg.
