2nd Quarterly - Chopped!

Rules
The general challenge rules can be found here
Graphic novels can be counted toward categories if they are at least 100 pages after dividing the most rated page count by 4. You can combine graphic novels to hit the page count minimum.
*Page Points:
<50 pages = .25 points
51 - 99 pages = .5 points
^^^ these books will only count for page points
100 - 149 pages = 1 point
150 - 249 pages = 2 points
250 - 349 pages = 3 points
350 - 449 pages = 4 points
450 - 549 pages = 5 points
550 - 649 pages = 6 points
650 - 749 pages = 7 points
750 - 849 pages = 8 points
850 - 949 pages = 9 points
950+ = 10 points
*Buddy read points will double the page count.
**Reading and participating in the group book of the month will triple the page count

How to Play
Unlike the show, no teams will be eliminated during this challenge. All categories will be available and repeatable throughout the challenge.
Each week you must read for at least 5 things:
1. A judge
2. A mystery ingredient
3. An appetizer
4. An entree
5. A dessert
Each of these categories has two tasks associated. Your team must read one book for each, meaning that each team must post at minimum 10 books per week. Once your team’s first set is completed you are welcome to read for additional ingredients and meals, but you cannot read for additional judges. Also, meals and ingredients must go hand in hand: you cannot read the tasks for a meal without also completing at least one ingredient.
At the end of each week one member of your team must check-in with a link to your spreadsheet and a list of the judge, ingredients, and meals you read for that week. There will be an example of how to do this on the check-in page.
Schedule
Week 1: April 1st - April 5th (check-in day)

I AM IN! Uh, books.... per week... 10-12? I think? Actually, no. Let’s go with 8-10 per week. Just in case holiday stuff gets in the way 🫡
Used to watch Chopped allll the time lol I'm in! 1-2 books per week. Usually 2 unless I'm reading a longer book
ooh this looks so cool (and the menu items are making my mouth water haha). i'm in for 1-2 books per week!

I feel like you always underestimate your reading - or maybe it's just all those killer BRs!

I do :(
If you want to change me to 6 you can. I usually read a book per day, sometimes 2, BUT that would assume every book would fit for every task and that's why I always underestimate lol

Players, you’re on the chopping block!
This challenge is inspired by popular cooking show Chopped, where four chefs face off across three rounds of cooking: appetizer, entree, and dessert. In each new round, the chefs must use the four ingredients provided to them in their mystery baskets. These ingredients range from unusual parts of animals to pre-processed foods that are difficult to reimagine in a restaurant-style dish.
If you participated in our Great British Baking Show challenge in 2024, the layout of this one will be familiar to you! Each week your team must read for at least one judge, one mystery ingredient, and one dish for each round of the show. You can read for additional ingredients and dishes beyond this minimum, but you must complete at least one set per week.
This challenge will begin at midnight on April 1st and will end at 11:59 Pacific Time on June 30th. Winners will be announced July 1st. When signing up, please let me know how many books you think you can read per week. This is so I can correctly balance the teams and make sure that each team will be able to read for at least the weekly set.
