Hi everyone! I’m really excited to be here and to share my work with fellow Urban Fantasy lovers.
My name is Nicole Deliz, and I’m the author of Savage, Book One in my Blood of the Gods saga. It’s a dark, character-driven urban fantasy set in modern-day New York City, where the supernatural is real, regulated, and dangerous.
The story follows Maria Villalobos, a werewolf and detective for the NYPD’s Supernatural Crimes Division. She’s the one they call when cases turn deadly. When a powerful Alpha is murdered, Maria is pulled into an investigation that quickly spirals into something much bigger, with supernatural politics, buried secrets, and truths that hit far too close to home.
Savage is gritty, emotional, and grounded, with morally gray characters and a strong focus on character development and worldbuilding. It is NOT YA and deals with mature themes, violence, and real consequences.
If you enjoy darker urban fantasy with complex characters and a bit of bite, this might be for you.
I’m really happy to be sharing this here, and I’d love to connect with you all. I’m also totally open to questions if you have any!
