📘Books must be a minimum of 100 pages
📘A single book may not count toward additional tasks unless it is the Spotlight Pick. That may count as the Core Task and Spotlight Pick.

🌱 How to Participate
To qualify:
⭐ Read a book by an author listed on the Emerging Authors List
⭐ Books must meet normal challenge rules (page minimum, completion dates, etc.)
⭐ Each book can only be used once toward Emerging Author badge progress

Participants can earn tiered badges based on how many different emerging authors they read.

⭐ How Author Spotlight Works

Each spotlight author includes four ways to participate:

📖 Core Task — Read ANY book by the author
🌟 Spotlight Pick — Read the featured Mod Pick
✨ Exploration Task — Read a book that reflects the author’s genre, tone, or themes
🏆 Deep Dive Bonus — Read a SECOND book by the author

You may complete as many or as few authors as you wish. New authors will continue to be added to the Library over time.

📚 What is considered completing an author?
An author is considered “completed” when the Core Task + one additional task are finished.
So examples:
✔ Core + Mod Pick
✔ Core + Exploration
✔ Core + Deep Dive


📚 Task Claiming Rules
⭐A Spotlight Pick may count for both the Core Task and the Spotlight Pick.
⭐The Exploration Task must be completed with a different book.
⭐The Deep Dive Bonus always requires reading a second book by that author.
