I admit this a bit messy:
Original date: This book is a reprint of the second, enlarged edition from 1656 (first edition 1647 under the title "Offt begehrte Beschreibung Der Newen Orientalischen Reise / So durch Gelegenheit einer Holsteinischen Legation an den König in Persien geschehen: Worinnen Derer Orter und Länder / durch welche die Reise gangen / als fürnemblich Rußland / Tartarien und Persien / ") either of theses dates would be more correct than 1971.

The page count of the main text in the original is 778. The introductory material is counted separately (xxxv), the index not at all, but the modern editors have continued the page count, so Worldcat has 802: https://search.worldcat.org/title/527368
The material belonging to the modern edition consists of 103 pages following the reprint, that is the basis for the 905 pages mentioned here.
