Backstory: When his parents died as a younger child, Gav became bitter, abandoned his apprenticeship as a dragon trainer, and glued himself to an evil sea captain. After robbing many ships for two years, the ship returned to land, where many of the crewmembers were caught. Gav escaped, along with several others including the captain. He's now a runaway convict.
