N.T. McQueen | 2 comments Ron Hansen has to be one my all time favorite HF writers. Well, actually, he's one of my favorite writers and has a profound influence on my understanding of craft. His use of language and using exposition that reflects the time period is hypnotic.

If you want to get the Ron Hansen experience, read The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford or The Kid. Both are fantastic and well worth the read.
