Hi Brad, just to say that the link is working, my problem is thatwhen I search for the book under: Johno by Kathleen O'Reilly Johnston ISBN 9781923105911 Unfortunately, my search does not find the book.
I'm just a bit worried about this, and hoping you can help.
Hello Kathleen,When I search for the book by its ISBN, it comes up. But when I search by title, it doesn't show up yet. That's because the website takes a little while for titles to appear. Just give it some time. Your book is definitely in the database. So don't worry your readers will find it.
By the way, I think the cover image is really beautiful.
Best regards.
Hello Luny,Thank you so much for the reassurance and for donating your time. I really appreciate your comment regarding the cover. It was created by an Australian graphic design student and the 'Johno' book cover project will go towards her final mark. The student did not use AI, so that makes me happy in itself.
I hope one day that my book 'Johno' will cross your path and you'll feel inclined to pick it up.
Thank you again for what you and all the Librarians do.

The world is a dangerous place for a child when no one's watching.
In post–World War II Scotland, a seven-year-old boy should be walking to school. Instead, he’s shipped off to Australia.
Trapped in a world of anger and violence with nowhere to turn, young Johno clings to the hope that a policeman might help him. But life has other plans.
Decades later, after years of denial by governments and cover-ups by institutions, Johno begins to uncover the truth about his past – and the web of lies that shaped his childhood.
A journey marked by cruelty and kindness, love and war and above all, the enduring strength of the human spirit.
