Vicki Willis | 635 comments How many books have you read this year? What was your favorite book so far?

I have read 35 books this year and really enjoyed
Keeper of Lost Children by Sadeqa Johnson Keeper of Lost Children
Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak Hidden Pictures and
The Favorites by Layne Fargo The Favorites
the most.

Cathy (cathepsut) | 807 comments Goodreads says I have read 35 books so far. I think that counting books is a bit pointless though. My list has novelettes/novellas/novels from 53 to 1058 pages.
Counting pages is not much better due to wildly different page layouts. I guess the most accurate would be word counts. Sounds a bit scary though.

Best ones so far:
Ammonite by Nicola Griffith
Children of Strife by Adrian Tchaikovsky

@Nona, I liked Emily Wilde a lot as well!
