As often happens, there are books and challenges we want to finish. So a Cool Down Week helps us to complete these. And also to recover from our readathon hangover lol

What are your plans for the week?

I'm participating in the 48 hour readathon (Pageathon) this weekend so will be reading the rest of the day. The rest of the week I have quite a few other plans so not sure how much I will be reading...

Jana Eichhorn | 328 comments I'm continuing to house/petsit for my sister through next weekend, so basically my Cool Down Week is going to be its own, less intense Readathon until next Saturday night. I'm going to read the rest of the pile I brought with me (including Evil is Forever, The Boyfriend Project, Armadale, and Caraval ) but my house isn't too far from here so I can always swing home and raid my library if needed.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1680 comments I'm part of the escape weekend read-a-thon which ends this evening, but for this week's personal goals will keep reading

Today want to finish at least 2 more books, this one and I'm not sure of the other yet
Dexter's Final Cut

It was technically after midnight so marked it done today
Dexter Is Dead

I plan to read some later of another book, and do some audio while getting some house projects done, but have not yet. Thankful I took today off work, tomorrow is regular work day.

THE UNTOLD STORY by Genevieve Cogman looks like a title I would like . I had to miss the spring Readathon because of an online Montessori course I'm taking . Hopefully I will be able to get in on the fall Readathon .

The reverse readathon tends to be in July and the fall one usually takes place in October.

I have fined my list. Whew!

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. I can well imagine these adventures were commonplace enough all along the Mississippi River in the 19th century. What a delight to reread 🌞

The Red Pony by John Steinbeck. The glory of yesteryear meets the hard work of these years. There's more. Perhaps I will write a review with examples.
