Helena | 97 comments I have a super long bus ride and I listen to audiobooks, and I go through them really quickly, so can you guys recommend me some mindless entertainment books, usually I listen to romantasy, but no immortal boy tropes ever.

Helena | 97 comments Also I might mention that I am not very familiar with the genre, so if you think of a book but are like "nah, everyone's read that one" I most likely haven't.

D S | 2 comments I'm no expert in romantasy, but i'd recommend the shadowhunters series or magisterium by cassandra clare!

Mary Eagar | 1 comments I hope you're ok with these my friend, but these are excellent for long bus rides, plane rides and travel in general if you wanna check'em out.

1. Little Women-Louisa May Alcott
2. On Stranger Tides-Tim Powers
3. 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea-Jules Verne
4. The Lion Of Ireland-Morgan Llewelyn
5. Redwall-Brian Jacques
6. The Jungle Book-Rudyard Kipling
7. Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit- JRR Tolkein
8. Dragonriders of Pern-Anne McCaffrey
9. Treasure Island-Robert Louis Stevenson
10. Last Of The Mohicans-James Fenimore Cooper

I hope this is ok, I apologize, I give very odd book recs but if you wanna check'em out they're totally worth it. Good luck my friend.

Maryam Gohar | 8 comments Hiiii! I just finished reading girl in pieces, and now I want to start a new book (YA), and my fav genres are romantasy, fantasy, realistic fiction, thriller/suspense, and Ive read a lot of romantasy so Im thinking of reading something thriller or maybe realistic/contemporary fiction since I recently got into it! Does anyone have any recs?

not exactly YA, but for thriller, i highly recommend "the surgeon" by tess gerritsen! even better that there's romance in both that book and its sequel <3 and a classic YA thriller would be "we were liars".

if you want a good YA contemp romance, i enjoyed "tokyo ever after". for (new) adult contemp books, i loveeee "the love hypothesis" and "beach read" (both have spice!)
