The Seasonal Reading Challenge discussion

If you are eligible to create a task for the next season, please follow this link and request to join the new group SRC Task Creation.

This group is only for the moderators to be able to review new tasks and communicate with task creators. All other group activities remain in main group. Only task creators will be admitted to this group. This thread will contain notification posts as players become eligible.

In this new group, task creators will post their task in the corresponding thread and moderators may ask them clarifying questions by posting in the thread. Please check for notifications if you have a task in the review stage.

If you decide to pass, you can tell us here in this thread.

Also, please be patient with us as we try this new task creation process.

Susan, all SRC group members received this message because GR no longer allows individual messages to be sent. It was to notify those individual names on the list that they qualified for a 30-point task.

I was a rookie to the challenge this season and just wanted to check if there was anything else I needed to do to be considered for these opportunities? Are all of the opportunities raffles? (Wondering specifically about Rookie at the Top)

I apologize profusely. I was in a bit of a hurry trying to get this done on my work computer this morning since my laptop died yesterday. I just looked at my spreadsheet again and I didn't realize that I hadn't sorted the list by points. You were the top rookie.

Since I sent out the message already, I would like to wait to see if she responds. If someone doesn't respond or turns down the opportunity, we do have a list of alternates. I believe you may also be an alternate on one of the other tasks as well.

Most Improved and Rookie at the Top are the only 2 that aren't random drawing from participation. Here is where you can see how to qualify for these opportunities: Rewards of the Challenge

if you go to the first message in this thread - at the very top - there is a link to the group that the moderators are using to create and work tasks - you need to apply to join
