"The Willoughby's" by Lois Lowry, was picked to be April's book by Meagan Spaulding. It is a family friendly book, and a fast read. It was so cute, I will definitely read this book again.

I just loved the cute humor in this book. I did find myself "talking" like the book when I read it... I'm not sure how to describe it correctly. I had this really frank, almost negative, yet pleasant attitude when I read it, just like the children in the book. I was trying to tell Tyler about it and he said it sounded harsh, which it wasn't at all. But I guess when you describe the story or the attitudes to someone it could seem harsh. I was impressed that author was able to write such a pleasant book about such terrible things (parents who hate the children, children who hate their parents, people dying, etc. It was still just cute)
