https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... - This is an invalid duplicate of ISBN 9781668038079 that was shelved a bunch of times, presumably because it was added to the site before an actual ISBN was confirmed and a bunch of people shelved it in advance. It needs to be merged.

Both have over 10K shelvings, so they have to be merged by the developers. I have submitted a request to staff: merge duplicate edition (19,620 adds):These merge requests often take awhile.

I really feel like staff should have been taught how to carry out a merge before this change was made, because more often than not when I've requested them to do a merge, they just delete one edition entirely call it a day. Fingers crossed that they do it right. Will check back on the thread in the future.
