I create a monthly TBR, but I always add to it and subtract from it. I put a few more on it than I think I will get to during the month.
I prioritize NetGalley ARCs that are upcoming that I've already downloaded as well as any specific commitments I've made to authors or publishers.
Then, I add ARCs that I have NetGalley widgets for, but haven't downloaded and would like to read.
Next, I add in BOTMs, Challenge reads, and books received in giveaways or sweepstakes.

I have a monthly schedule. I find by the time I add the Netgalley ARCs publishing the following month, BOTMs, buddy reads and the books I have picked out for challenges, that I end up with a full list of 15-16 books (sometimes more so I know some won't get read!). I do try to fit as many Netgalley books into challenges as possible to help me keep on track with reading them on time.
My list is a little flexible with books sometimes moving into the next month or a challenge book being replaced with something I can't wait to read (as long as it fits the challenge!)
I also have an annual GR bookshelf for books I want to read where I can add books that catch my eye, but can't fit in yet. Sort of a priority tbr list. I use this for challenges and at the end of the year I transfer a few that I still really want to get round to reading to next year's list.

For this month, I have 2 NG books due in May and June, and 1 EW book due in June. I also have 1 kindle GR giveaway to read. Starting in June I will be reading books from my library, participating in the library summer reading raffle. I am currently reading a print book giveaway from Hachette books through their reading club.

If so, is it a weekly or monthly one or something else?
How rigid is it?
If you don't have a reading schedule. how do you choose your next book(s)?
