Well the ISBN is a valid one because it’s on the Waterstones site and the one I linked earlier. It’s the Waterstones exclusive edition with sprayed edge so it isn’t posted on any of those other sites except Waterstones which is a bookseller so you won’t accept it

I don’t really see any other way around that?

Martina  (martina_s_hlavou_v_knihach) | 16011 comments Interesting, ISBN-13 typically start with 978 or 979. I have never came across ISBN that started with random numbers but uncle Google confirms that exclusive editions usually require a unique ISBN for each variation.

I guess you really do learn something new everyday.

Could you link the Waterstones sites again so we can have a look?

Also, scans/photos of your copy could also be used as a source - we would need photo/scan of the cover and the copyright page showing the technical details such as ISBN, publisher etc. Do you think you could provide those?
