Hi. I'm looking for recommendations from real readers based on what books I enjoyed. I have wasted too many audible credits on books that I couldn't finish, they were so bad. I listen during my hour commute to work and back and doing housework. Books I have read recently that I enjoyed: The Correspondent, Theo of Golden (love), most Sean Dietrich books. I loved Dean Koontzs Odd Thomas series, and in the past, Sophie Kinsella shopaholic series, and most, but not all, Oprah's Bookclub recommendations. Please help.

You might enjoy Jumbo Jumble if you’re looking for something reflective and uplifting that feels different from the usual inspirational books. It’s a 365-day collection of photographs, quotes, observations, and questions created by someone who openly talks about never fully fitting into conventional life. What stayed with me was how human and unpolished it felt — more like walking with someone thoughtful than being “motivated” by a self-help book. It reminded me a bit of the emotional honesty people connect with in Sean Dietrich’s writing, though the format is very different.
It’s especially good for readers who feel restless, reflective, or still figuring things out.
If you like dark urban romantasy with found family, soul bond, slow burn, with a powerful fmc, and a mmc who is a lightly overdone cinnamon, and everyone's favorite regal snarky talking cat, Sir Felix, who has a secret of his own, and a demon prince who is a red flag in an Armani suit. I recommend my debut novel, Ascendance. It's currently available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
