Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I noticed that following the publication of my books in Italian language, where my author name appears as "Dott. Pietro Emanuele Garbelli" instead of "Dr. Pietro Emanuele Garbelli", a new author profile was created, and I have been unable to add those editions to my main author profile: could a librarian please help with this? I was also wondering if my author profile should have the prefix "Dr." added as the current pen name. Thank you in advance for the assistance!

1) You posted your question in the wrong folder.

This one is for ADDING new books/editions, not for fixing/updating already existing records.

You should have posted either in Book & Author Page Issues

2) No, your title should not be added to your author name.
I am sure you worked really hard to earn it, but Goodreads is a book database not a hospital. As long as the "Dr." is not a part of your pseudonym (example - Dr. Seuss) it should not be used as a part of your author name on GR.

3) I merged the profiles. As a GR author you should be able to combine editions of the same book if needed. If you are unsure how, contact librarians in Book & Author Page Issues
