My fav that I've read of his is The Dismembered - the first half is like an Emily Bronte novel, the second like a Stuart Gordon film. (I told him in person that's how I describe it and he got a big laugh out of it.)
Also liked:
The Dark Game
The Sorrows

I've heard great things about Children of the Dark and I just watched him get interviewed on a podcast where he was talking about Veil which sounds interesting.
I remember I loved
, in fact I want to re read it soon. But also

As a short story
was interesting.
I've read the majority of his books, and I do think Veil is his best, but I also enjoyed the Children of the Dark books (love coming-of-age books), and I've always been a sucker for a good werewolf book, and Wolf Land is a lot of fun!
