Bruce M. Perrin
An individual name Bev and who describes herself as a Goodreads Librarian has contacted me about adding my book, A Weaponized Mind, to the MountTBR program. I doubt that the request is legitimate, and thought the group might want to publicize the fact that this scam is being run.

If not a scam, I apologize for the unnecessary warning.

Firstly please don't use this folder for anything. It is for staff to announce changes in policy & there are so many stickied posts that new ones just disappear from view. (as you have found!) If you have a question that doesn't involve book edits put your question in the Questions folder.

There are very rarely any staff in this group now & Librarians cannot 'sticky' a post.

If you have your email visible anywhere on this site, I would strongly recommend removing it.

You can try contacting Support about this;

but if you were contacted by email there is probably nothing they can do.

Sorry. Guess it was a poor choice of a folder. But in fact, it did turn out to be a scam and I thought the Librarians should know.
