Hi all! What prompted you to join this buddy read?
I've been wanting to start doing buddy reads, this is my first one! I really like the plot for this one and I'm excited to dive in.
Have you read this author before? What do you think of their other books?
Nope, this is my first Rebecca Serle book.
Hi! I'm Patricia, and I would like to join this buddy read. Although I didn't sign up, I'm glad to join this buddy read. I've been in a deep reading slump, and I'm trying to get back to reading again. I thought that this book would do because I wanted to read romance books again:>>
I’ve already finished it as the audiobook was accessible and I had nothing pressing to my work day and could get it all done in a day. Not my usual fare but I enjoyed it. Will watch this space to see what you all think.
I'm about to start Chapter 7.I have a prediction. I guess by the time I finish the book, I'll know if I'm correct or not.

I finished this book today. I liked it! I am going to hold off on saying anything more until closer to the end of the month when everyone has made more progress. Happy reading! :)
I've just started this morning. I also have a bit of prediction, I wonder if it's going to be correct. Enjoying it so far.
Hey everyone. I finished the book last night, read it in one day because I couldn't put it down, then gave it 4 stars, and then woke up in the morning with a "uh-oh" feeling and knowing I have to lower my rating to 2 stars. 😅 🙈 My prediction for what's going to happen in the book was correct (and I hate it for that). Here's my review (please only read it after you finish the book, as it's with spoilers): https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I can't wait to read more of your thoughts! I wonder if I'm alone in my feelings about it.

You put everything I felt about this book but couldn't communicate into words for me.

LinaVer wrote: "Randi wrote: "LinaVer wrote: "Hey everyone. I finished the book last night, read it in one day because I couldn't put it down, then gave it 4 stars, and then woke up in the morning with a "uh-oh" f..."YES.
Oh, I'm relieved I'm not alone in thinking that. 🤭 After I finished it, I remember thinking I wish someone like Susanna Clarke or Suzanne Collins helped this author to write it and bring more depth and just more and better to it. 🙈 It's such a great idea that this book is based on.Edit to add: I don't regret reading it though, I'm happy I joined this buddy read 😊
I finally finished this. Life gets in the way sometimes. My reading didn't go as planned, for June. It's been a rough one.I gave this 3 stars. I enjoyed it well enough. (view spoiler)
I'm probably reading another of this author's books for the Readathon. This was my first book by her.
I'm glad you all were here for this buddy read. Thank you.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.
Here are some questions to help get the conversation started! Feel free to look up discussion questions specific to this book or come up with your own. Just make sure any questions that contain spoilers are under spoiler tags.
Discussion questions are not required but may be a fun way to talk about the book and get to know each other!
