WindowSwap is a project by Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam. It lets you use your browser to watch a video of a window and its unique view from different locations across the globe.

There are windows from all over: there’s a rainy street in Thailand, a mountain view from Switzerland, a busy street in London, a cat watching birds in Qatar, a view of the city skyline in Singapore, and an almost panoramic view of the ocean from Oahu.

I got a rather boring window. It's someone's back porch looking through a chain link fence to the mountains of Taiwan.

It was posted be Taiwan Mountain's window in Shiton, Miaoli, Taiwan in March, 2926.

I saw:

a Presbyterian Church (?!?) Dangerous Melody is a Christian themed book 6/29 ***

This one kept going in and out of focus showing me a reflection of just the camera occasionally. The view was rather samey either way.

Going down a river on a boat, sunset in the distance with lots of bushes and trees on the embankment. Clear day, white flowers on some of the bushes.

Window Swap - June

I got Pluton's window from Sakarya City, Turkey. It was taken in May of 2026 at 4:04pm.

It's a view from a balcony. There are red-tiled rooftops in a residential area. You can see hills/mountains in the distance and trees around the neighborhood. The sky is overcast/cloudy. There is a Turkish flag flying on a pole. In the clip, it's pretty windy and there are a lot of birds flying around (not really visible from the still image I posted).
