OK, I adore Vanity Fair too. But I'm wondering if anyone else has explored the other novels? I read Pendennis and Barry Lyndon last year and am midway through the Newcomes now. It's a really different reading experience and curious to hear your thoughts, especially since Thack was considered second only to Dickens during the period.
