Several authors have contacted me to let me know that someone claiming to represent this group - and in some cases, someone pretending to be ME - has emailed them and offered to promote their book in this group, "for a small participation fee." This is ALWAYS a scam!

This is a reading challenge, free to anyone who wishes to participate. We follow the categories published each year by the online magazine, PS (formerly known as Popsugar).

There is never a fee to participate in this group! And we do not promote new books here. (Posts that are purely self-promotions and unrelated to our challenge will be immediately deleted.)

Hi, i have also been contacted by three people claiming to represent this group wanting money to promoted my book. It was on tiktok and i have reported them.

Thanks for that heads up! I'm sure a lot of our members are on tiktok, but Lynn and I never use tiktok so that's for sure a lie if they pretended to be us.
