Do you have any strategy that you follow during the Reverse Readathon?
Have tips and tricks for your fellow readathoners?
Or do you want to ask for some readathon tips?
This is the place!

Cathy (cathepsut) | 807 comments Same advice as for the pre-readathon: I usually go for a mix of genres—SF, fantasy, horror, non-fiction.

And a mix of formats—Something in paper, some ebook, audio, graphic novel, some short stories…

Something long, something short.

Something almost finished for the satisfaction of finishing it during the readathon. Something not started yet. Something new, something old from my TBR pile…

I basically try to mix it up as much as possible. But I rarely read more than three things at a time and I try to avoid reading the same genre simultaneously, it gets too confusing.

If you feel pressure of any kind with bingos, TBRs, counting pages, etc, stop, breathe, and remember reading should be fun.

Middleton (theunapologeticbookworm) | 63 comments Even if you're going into the readathon with a planned TBR and/or a schedule for how you want to approach the day, that plan does not have to be carved in stone. Some of the best moments I've had in previous readathons only happened because I decided to scrap my plans in favor of something different.

Completely agree!
I always have a schedule and TBR (well, the Reverse Readathon is always more chaotic for me than the regular ones) and try to stick to it, but if life or mood decides otherwise, that is perfectly ok!

Yes! Mixing (genres, formats, lengths etc) is the way to go.
I always have a few books to finish during the readathon, but the Reverse one is always......different lol
