ALPHA READERS WANTED

Hey everyone!! I am looking for a few people to read my finished novel. It hasn’t been professionally edited yet, so I’m looking for feedback on the story itself - no line editing needed!

THE GUARDIANS WATCH is a new adult sci-fi fantasy novel about:

* Time travel is possible, yet doing so has destroyed the world

* The last of humanity has found refuge underground in a compound known as The Guardian - designed to safeguard the remaining portals and prevent anyone from stepping through

* A young woman was responsible for an event that nearly destroyed the Guardian, but has no memory of it.

* As she tries to uncover the truth, she learns that things in the Guardian aren’t exactly what they seem

Perfect for you if you enjoy Pierce Brown, James Islington, and Suzanne Collins

The novel is 314,000 words, and is the first book in a trilogy. What I’m looking for in an alpha reader:

- Read the full manuscript (it’s a massive book, so I understand it might take a while to get through!)

- Tell me if you connected to the main character. And if not, why

-Tell me if the world building was clear

- Tell me where you slowed down or almost stopped reading

- Tell me if the ending was unexpected, or if you saw it coming from a mile away

- Tell me if at the end you would be interested in a second book

If you are interested’d love to send you the prologue and first 3 chapters to see if it’s a good fit. No pressure to continue if it isn’t!

I prefer using google doc file so that you can track my progress in reading and also I would be able to make corrections on typo, suggestions and other things with comments without affecting the main manuscript.
