I have been trying for so long to find books with a gritty romance between an anti-hero and heroin, possibly an enemies romance or similar.
I recently read The Big Sleep, and love the noir/hard boiled genre, I loved the romance/anti romance between the characters and want to find more with this type of romance in the books but with a good story.
I seem to find all recommendations are cheesy romance that I’m not interested in and would prefer something a bit better written with a good plot.
I’d prefer if the romance was a side plot of the actual story.
If anyone can recommend anything that fits the bill I’d love to hear about it!
