It is very hard for me to DNF a book. I always hope it will get better, specially if someone whose reviews I trust have read it and liked it.
The last one I dnf’ed was Spread Me. It was just too weird and I found it somehow offensive.

I couldn't do this when I was younger, & used to force myself to the end, but now I'm running out of time, so I do. Life's too short to be reading something I'm not enjoying. No guilt, just relief.
I used to not DNF books, but I've decided that life is far too short to force myself to read something I'm not enjoying. The last book I DNFed was Dating & Dismemberment, because I just didn't care about the story or characters.
