Hmmm, Garfield was quite amusing in his comics day. An absolutely favorite, hard to say.
In the book I just finished, Ode to the Half-Broken, Atticus, the hybrid cyborg dog was fun. He could talk and was funny and snarky and quite intelligent.
I don't have a favourite but I do enjoy Pratchett's orangutan Librarian & Gaspode the talking dog's witty asides.
