The story follows Aelmar Swynford, a paladin in training who refuses an unjust command and is cast out by the order he once served. After surviving a near-death experience, he joins a group of unlikely companions and begins hearing a mysterious voice calling him toward forgotten shrines, ancient mantras, and a duty to the land he does not yet understand.

It is an epic fantasy about exile, friendship, moral choices, lost virtues, and the burden of becoming something the world desperately needs.
