Hi guys so I'll tell you the full story. I went to a program for economics at Duke this week and I just got back, but while I was over there I met a man (well a boy but who cares), and I started to like him. Basically we were paired for a project that was due at the end of the one week program. It was him and I and then 3 other girls, but he didn't really talk to them, he mainly talked to me. Near the end, him and I still had some work to do so I texted him and we ended up having inside jokes and texting for a long time. The next day, we didn't really talk until it was our designated work time, but we just kept on making each other laugh. On the last day I had to leave early but before we left he got our group together and we were talking and congratulating each other on our good work. He said if anyone was in New York (where he lives) we should meet up. I will be going there for conferences and competitions in November and December so I mentioned that and he smiled really big and pointed and said "Hey, There we go! That's great! I'll give you my address." And we just talked a bit after that. Then we had to make letters to people of our choice as a goodbye and he wrote me a letter but I hadn't read it until I got back home, but it had inside jokes in it and he said some of the things he likes about me. Right as I was leaving however, I gave everybody hugs and gave him a hug last, just a side hug since we were sitting down, but his eyes widened at first then as far as I remember, it was a tired haze, he wrapped his arm around my waist/hip and hugged me back and said"Bye" in a kind of happy/sad way iykyk. I will be 15 when we meet up again and I'm pretty sure he's about 16-17 years old. He never talked about a gf with anyone, so it doesn't sound like he has one. Plus, who would ask to hang out if they have a gf

Yeah I did! I mentioned that he made me laugh harder than I ever could remember and that he made me happy and stuff like that!

I'm just worried he has a gf, but he's such a green flag, he always makes me feel included and always listens to what I'm saying, even when I have a hard time saying it, so I don't think he would ask me to hang with him in NY and then have a gf

Yeah it sounds like he's single to me, I don't think he'd do half that stuff if he was in a relationship
