Clean Reads discussion

I just got a free copy of Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare from the library and was wondering if this book and the rest of the series is clean. Also would like to know if her other series are good.

I have read 1-6 of the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (part of the same world as the Clockwork books). She stayed mostly clean until the final book which included a sex scene. I have not read her other works since this scene was unnecessary and caused me to question if her later works would include more of the same. It's too bad since I really enjoyed her books. (It's been years since I read her books, but there may also be same-gender attraction/relationships included, no sex scenes with them though, at least not in the series I read).
