i believe you wanted the Editions to be combined rather than merged (as they aren't "the same"). I combined them and they should show up as a single work on you provile soon.

For explanation:
Combining means taking two or more editions and linking them into one work. No editions are deleted, so you have the same number of editions before and after a combine.

Merging means combining two editions that are actually duplicates. An edition is removed from the general catalog, so after a merge, you will have fewer editions than before.
