hi! do u guys have any comic book recs? it can be from dc, marvel or any other comics u like :)

I don't really read comic books, but I read V for Vendetta and I really liked it, it was the first comic book I've ever read

I also have never tried any comic book and I want to try one looking forward to recommendations

if you like spider-man, Ultimate Spider-Man (Jonathan Hickman) is a great choice. it’s part of the Ultimate Universe, but you can read it without having any context of what’s happening. another great choice is Black Widow by Kelly Thompson!!! I haven’t read much DC but i loved Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and I’ve been told Absolute Batman is great too :)

If you’re looking for a REALLY controversial one, I would recommend Batman Damned (Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo). If not, I was never here.

I don’t know if this is considered a comic book but I really love:

- LORE OLYMPUS which is a modern fantasy retelling of Hades + Persephone

- WAYNE FAMILY ADVENTURES which is a cozy Batman family DC Comic on Webtoons

- GRANDMASTER OF DEMONIC CULTIVATION (aka MDZS) which is a Chinese historical fantasy/action and adventure comic about good vs evil, revenge, court politics, and forbidden love plus it features zombies and resurrection
